Mitchell Fillet, Chairman
Mitchell Fillet has extensive experience managing bank asset portfolios having worked for several major financial services firms including Prudential Securities, Merrill Lynch, and Bear Sterns. He has also had the responsibility of design and implementation of purchase and risk management for denovo bank charters and community banks. Currently, he has acted as a consultant to some of the largest banks in the world, assisting them in structuring and implementing a sales and/or "damage control" scenario for various pools of performing and sub-performing loans in their portfolio. In the last year he has worked for Societe Generale and The Industrial Bank of Japan which are two of the world's largest depository institutions.
Mr. Fillet received a B.A. from Boston University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He has attended both the University of Michigan School of Management and The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania for post-graduate work in industrial management. He has been a member of the faculty at New York University and Fordham University. At the later institution, he taught Money & Banking. Mitchell Fillet is currently listed in three different volumes of Who's Who.
