Payments can now be made online for many of the fees collected by Carson City. We have taken all the necessary steps to ensure that your information is protected. If you need to enter additional information, use the comments box. This process presumes that you will be taking money from a checking account. Be sure to use a check and not a deposit slip. The numbers printed on the bottom of a deposit slip are different from those on a check. When your transaction is completed, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address that you provided on the form. This e-mail can act as your receipt. If the account does not have sufficent funds or the account number is entered wrong, the transaction will not complete. In that case, the department will not post the payment and you will receive an e-mail to the address you gave us notifying you that the transaction failed. In addition, a processing fee will be charged when the transaction is not complete due to insufficient funds.
